evangelists, some pastors and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until all of us come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to maturity, to the measure of the full stature of Christ.\u201d<\/em> \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 COVENANTS:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><em>THAT YOU\u2026<\/em><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Preach and teach the Word of God as revealed in the Old and New Testaments;<\/li>\n<li>Administer the Sacraments, Holy Baptism and the Lord\u2019s Supper, according to the practice of The Evangelical Covenant Church;<\/li>\n<li>Lead us in ministry to all the members of this faith community according to particular needs;<\/li>\n<li>Lead us in fulfilling our church\u2019s responsibility to witness for Christ and to gather into community the lost and the unconnected;<\/li>\n<li>Lead us in a public witness through ministries of compassion and justice;<\/li>\n<li>Give pastoral leadership to our congregation\u2019s boards, ministry committees and activities;<\/li>\n<li>Keep your life in harmony with the Word of God, striving in word and deed to be a worthy example in Christian living;<\/li>\n<li>Keep your practices consistent with the Covenant\u2019s <em>Rules for the Ordered Ministry<\/em>, and its <em>Ethical Principles for Covenant Ministers;<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Lead with authenticity in accord with the <em>Covenant Affirmations,<\/em> and the Constitution and Bylaws of this congregation;<\/li>\n<li>Oversee the leadership of public worship services;<\/li>\n<li>Oversee the administration of official church records\/ministerial acts as necessary;<\/li>\n<li>Encourage us to support the mission of the Covenant Church and our regional
